Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. He started his acting career by playing the roles he played in TV series including Opposite Sex which premiered in 2000. The actor gained fame for his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans has appeared in numerous films that were adapted from graphic novels and comics including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). His fame grew due to his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble movies The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). His roles in the Marvel series has established him as one of the top-paid actors.
